Lenoir Hospital Foundation Names New Executive Director

Vickie Robinson has been named Executive Director of the Lenoir Hospital Foundation, She will replace the outgoing director, Constance Hengel who will retire March 31, 2024. 

“UNC Health Lenoir is a blessing to our community! As the executive director of the Foundation, I am honored and excited to work within our region to continue the amazing work of the Foundation and increase support for our hospital,” said Robinson.

“Welcome Vickie Robinson!  Vickie brings a wealth of development experience and familiarity with our community. Her desire is to hit the ground running connecting donors with their passion for healthcare. She looks forward to working with our current and future donors,” stated Hengel. 

The Lenoir Hospital Foundation was established over thirty years ago to receive and steward private donations for the purpose of enhancing patient care through support to the UNC Health Lenoir. It does so through grants in support of upgrades in medical technology, equipment purchases, support for community health initiatives, and capital improvements.  To recognize and show appreciation for the philanthropy of major contributors, a donor wall is displayed just inside the hospital entrance.
