UNC Health Lenoir welcomes new Chief Financial Officer

UNC Health Lenoir welcomes Mr. Bharadwaj “Brad” Mantha as the organization’s new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective June 10, 2024. Mr. Mantha brings a decade of expertise from the healthcare finance sector highlighted by his recent role as Chief Financial Officer at Maryview Medical Center under Bon Secours Mercy Health. There, he provided strategic leadership and financial oversight to BSMH’s largest hospital in the region. Before his time at Maryview, Brad served as the CFO of BSMH’s Medical Group in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to his tenure with BSMH, Brad served in various capacities at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he managed teams responsible for financial reporting, budget development, and strategic financial analyses, helping with the Center’s health system affairs group.

Brad holds an MBA and a Master’s in Business Analytics from The University of Texas at Dallas and is actively working to obtain his FACHE credential. Brad and his wife Mali, currently live in Richmond, Virginia with their son, Vikram. When Brad is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, exploring literature, traveling, and volunteering in the local community.
