UNC Health Lenoir along with other hospitals across the state have felt the stress of the nursing shortage over the last few years and that stress will likely continue.

UNC Health Lenoir welcomes Mr. Bharadwaj “Brad” Mantha as the organization’s new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective June 10, 2024.

UNC Health Lenoir’s Bariatric Surgery Center has been re-accredited for another 3 years as a Comprehensive Center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP®), a joint Quality Program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

This year as we celebrate National Volunteer Week, April 21-27, we would like to thank our Volunteers for their gift of time.

This celebration recognizes the contributions physicians make every day to the health and welfare of our community with an annual breakfast and recognition of new doctors that have joined the staff and milestones achieved through service to patients and families.

Vickie Robinson has been named Executive Director of the Lenoir Hospital Foundation, She will replace the outgoing director, Constance Hengel who will retire March 31, 2024.
